I would like to configure things so that every time a customer visits via a new affiliate link they are associated with that affiliate (instead of the association lasting until the retention period has expired). Can I do that?

(2003/11/30)I have added this as an option to the module. On the "options" tab, there is now an option for "New referrals break retention?". If this option is checked, when a customer visits the store via a referral link they will be associated with that affiliate regardless of whether or not they are already associated with an affiliate.

NOTE: this will likely also help in testing the module once installed in your store; previously it was difficult to test configurations for different affiliates since the association lasted until the retention period expired.
