Displaying messages for failed login attempts
I have the login page template set up but when an affiliate enters the incorrect user name or password they are not seeing a note explaining why. Can this be fixed?
The Affiliate Manager and Affiliate Manager - Login modules use Merchant's own login feature. Normally that feature would define a message which can be displayed. However, for some reason that isn't working here.
It does however set a variable we can use to test to see if the login failed. So you can display your own messag by adding the following code to the page's template:
<mvt:if expr="g.Customer_Login_Invalid"> Your login user name and/or password is invalid. </mvt:if>Last update: 2009-07-27 11:26
