General Module Issues


How can I remove a shipping or payment module that has orders associated with it?

Miva Merchant will not allow you to remove a shipping or payment module if it has poast orders associated with it. In order to get around this:

  • Go into your admin and under Modules, uncheck the Active box after clicking on the name of the module you wish to remove.
  • Go to the Shipping or Payment configuration area (depending on the module you wish to remove) and uncheck the module there
  • Go back to under Modules and recheck the active box
  • At this point you can delete the module if you desire, otherwise leave it installed. It is no longer active.
