Eliminating Out of Stock Items From Displaying In the Product List

Yes. You can put %begin_instock% at the beginning and %end_instock% at the end of the Product Listing template area. A better approach however, might be to put these around the %prodselect% and %prod_selectbutton% tokens. That way the product would still show up but would not be able to be selected. That way you would at least know why the product wasn't showing up in your searches . You could go further and add an out of stock message:

%begin_outstock%Out of stock%end_outstock%
